About our Drone Flying Lessons
Our drone flying lessons give you the confidence to fly, with a focus on developing skills to safely take to the skies. We give you the confidence to fly solo and hone your drone flying skills, helping you make the most of your drone, whether for hobby or commercial use. Already flying drones? We focus on refining skills, advanced maneuvers, and video and photography techniques.
Our drone flying lessons are all about building up drone flying skills, giving you the confidence to take to the skies solo, or to push your drone flying into commercial work. Depending on the level of class, we arm you with basic safety knowledge, get you flying confidently, and work on advancing your skills.
Those already flying drones will benefit from learning more advanced skills and maneuvers, filming and photography techniques, and the chance to fly DJI’s immersive Avata FPV drone.
Our classes are all about stick time, with your flying improvement being the only marker of our success.
We have a range of DJI drones in our fleet, from the tiny Mini 3 Pro, to a larger Mavic 3 Pro and Phantom 4 Pro and the amazing Avata FPV drone*. We tailor drone lessons to the individual/s taking part, ensuring you are flying the right drones and getting the right teaching to make the most of your time with us.

Our Drone Flying Lessons are held across two locations, both in the Cotswolds, and both with easy access from Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Swindon, and the surrounding area. Both offer countryside locations with wide open landscapes, plenty of space to fly drones as well as a good amount of interesting things to see while you’re in the air.

How the Day Works
Our drone flying lessons are run over two and a half hours from 11am to 1.30pm including a quick break for a bite to eat.
- We assess the experience of the class and tailor the lessons to suit, from absolute beginner, to advanced.
- We focus on building your drone flying skills, improving smoothness, accuracy, and responses.
- Opportunity to improve your drone videography and photography skills.
- Tea, coffee, and bacon or veggie sandwiches provided on the day.
Begginer Drone Lessons
Step One
Arrive on site, introductions, grab a tea/coffee and biscuit and settle in for a simple, easily digestible safety briefing
Step Three
Swap drones and experience flying different sizes and speeds of drone, start flying at higher altitudes.
Step Two
Introduction to the various drones and basic controls with a chance to build flying skills at low altitude
Step Four
Build up to the grand finale, experiencing the immersive 'goggles on' world of FPV drones with DJI's Avata.
