Bristol is a city with a rich history and vibrant energy. From its industrial roots to its modern architecture, the city’s skyline is a true testament to its diverse and dynamic spirit. And with drone photography, you can experience it from a whole new perspective.
As a one-time resident it’s an absolute treat to go out in the city to capture drone photography. I absolutely adore this place and it still holds a special place in my heart 10 years after I last lived there. Having moved around the UK and abroad fo rthe last decade I now call Tetbury my home, and thankfully this is within spitting distance of Bristol, which gives me a chance to escape the countryside and indulge myself in the ‘big smoke’.
I captured this set of images from a safe location near the harbourside, which is the perfect spot to see how the city nestles into it’s landscape rather than dominating it, in a typical Bristol fashion.
I love the shapes of the city from the air, and of course the mix of maritime history, industrial architecture, and truly modern touches. Bristol has never shied away from progress and there’s no better way to see this than with drone photography.
